TechBrick Education in 2021 is a continuation of a movement first begun by Marco Ciavolino in 2003. Marco started a club to provide education that was independent from the school system. The number of students and teams expanded to include home schooled, public and private schooled students in Harford County Maryland and expanded to cover the surrounding area. Northern Chesapeake STEM Incorporated (NCSI) was started as a non-profit in 2018 to take over the administration of an ever-growing program. TechBrick Education includes over a dozen teams that learn about technology through creative teamwork primarily to build and compete robots of various sizes.

The ultimate goal of our program is to have students go on from high school into higher education and engage in technical careers. Our success rate is stunning with the vast majority of students pursuing phenomenally successful education and technical professions.
